DESCRIPTION:Virtual Selten Lecture 2020 with Stefanie Stantcheva \nStefanie Stantcheva\, Professor of Economics at Harvard University will deliver this year’s virtual Selten Lecture on “Social Economics Surveys and Experiments to Understand how People think about Economic Policy”. Stefanie Stantchevas’s research focuses on long-run effects of taxes on innovation\, education & training\, and wealth. Also\, she runs a run large-scale “Social Economics Surveys and experiments” to explore the determinants of social preferences\, attitudes\, and perceptions.  \nWith the Selten Lecture\, the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute and the Reinhard Selten Institute invite on an annual basis internationally renowned researchers for a lecture for interested researchers. \nThis lecture will look at the use of large-scale social economics surveys and experiments to explore how people think about a range of economic policy and economic issues.
